Concrete/Brick Bins

Concrete/Brick Bins

Dealing with a pile of bricks or broken concrete? Our Concrete/Brick Bins are designed for exactly that. Quick Bin Hire provides specialized skip bins for clean hard waste in Melbourne – ideal for ripping up driveways, removing concrete slabs, or knocking down brick walls. Using a dedicated concrete/brick bin keeps these heavy materials separate from general waste, which often means lower disposal costs and the assurance they’ll be properly recycled instead of dumped.

We deliver the skip to your site and pick it up when it’s full. It’s a simple, efficient way to get rid of heavy rubble without any back-breaking trips to the tip – just load all your concrete and bricks, and we’ll handle the rest.

What Can Go in a Concrete/Brick Bin?

  • Concrete debris: Broken concrete slabs or chunks from driveways, footpaths, etc., and concrete blocks (with minimal dirt).

  • Bricks and pavers: Whole bricks, broken brickwork, paving stones, and ceramic tiles.

  • Clean rubble: Small amounts of rocks, gravel, or sand from the demolition site.

What Not to Put in a Concrete/Brick Bin

  • General/other waste: No household garbage, garden waste, packaging, wood, metal, plastic, or any other non-concrete/brick materials. This bin is for hard inert materials only.

  • Soil or clay: Earth and clay are not allowed in large amounts (a few clumps on concrete pieces are fine, but use a soil bin if you have lots of soil).

  • Hazardous items: No asbestos, chemicals, paints, or any other dangerous substances (never allowed in any skip).

Concrete/Brick Bin FAQs

Q: Can I put anything other than concrete and bricks in this bin?
A: No – to keep disposal efficient, these bins should only contain hard inert materials like concrete, masonry, rocks, and tiles. Don’t throw general trash, wood, or other wastes in. Small bits of rebar embedded in concrete are OK, but nothing large or loose. If you have other junk along with concrete, we can provide a Mixed Heavy bin instead.

Q: Do you recycle the concrete and brick waste?
A: Yes. All the masonry we collect is taken to a Melbourne recycling facility, where it’s crushed and processed into reusable materials like road base and aggregate. By separating it, you’re giving your old concrete and bricks a second life instead of sending them to landfill.
